Over at Motherhood Uncensored, Kristen was talking about making some motivational posters for moms, something that would feature things we can actually relate to as opposed to the cheesy “dream big” written beneath a tiny scorpion crossing the vast desert or whatever.

Thanks to the nifty tools over at Flickr, it was easy to come up with four quick “momivational” posters.

Because, really, a princess has to be a princess even when she’s sneezing, sniffling, and coughing up a pancreas.

Ah, sisters. Always there for you.

The scary side of parenting.

And finally, don’t let the man (or the toy store) get you down. Boys can play Barbies and girls can drive bulldozers.

This is surprisingly addictive. I had to force myself to stop at four. If you do one too, go drop by Kristen’s site and let her know!

That SISTERS one is awesome. There is just a hint of crazy in her eyes, yes?

Love them. I made one of those when we got past the scary pre-term pregnancy thing. I have a few funny ones I could make of Nicholas. I think I’ll do that this week. With all of my free time in these last ten days of work. 😉

PS – The last one is my favorite. I

Could you say 5 or 24 words describing those flickr tools used to make the posters? I just signed up and found tools used to upload photos — but I didn’t see tools that might be used to make posters like you showed. Those are truly cool.

    Those are so fun!

The last one with the truck is my favorite. I loved cars and trucks as a little girl and my only use for a doll was to throw it at my twin sister.

LOL @ “motimivational.” I love it. Although I’d spell it “motimavational,” the fact remains is that I, myself, do this to TOO MANY words, giggle about it, and repeatedly think it’s cute to speak this way. During a recent job interview I almost said, “Thank you for the intermaview.” I think I actually picked this habit up on the intermanet (interminet). However, it’s still nice to see someone with a similar sense of humor!
